NAG TIBBA TREK

Nag Tibba trek is located in the Tehri Garhwal District of Uttarakhand.

It leads to the highest summit of the lesser Himalayas.
The summit of Nag Tibba is at a height of 3022 m(9,914ft) above sea level.

The trek has its name from 'Nag Devta Temple' and offers an ideal weekend getway destination for adventure loves. In the local language, 'Nag' translates to Snake and 'Tibba' to hill or peak, so together, it means 'Abode or Home of Snake Lord'.

The trek starts from the small village Pantwari. You can cover it on the same day easily, so it is popular among weekend treks in Uttarakhand, mainly for weekend lovers of Delhi and nearby cities.

Nag Tibba Trek is a wonderful bliss of adventure, peace at its finest forests and grasslands.

During trekking, you also see Kedarnath peak in the north, Doon valley and 100-degree view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges such as Chandrashila, Kedarkantha, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Swaragrohini, and Yamunotri range.

Embark on an exhilarating journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Nag Tibba Trek, nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India.

Day 1: Dehradun Pantwari campside

Reach Dehradun in the morning.
Reporting time at prince chowk bus stop Dehradun is 7:00am (near the railway station in Dehradun)
Drive to Pantwari village via Mussoorie. Dehradun to Pantwari road is well-paved and cemented, you will arrive in Pantwari after 3-4 hours.
Reach Pantwari village via Kempty Fall and Nainbag. Upon arrival at Pantwari base campside, get served with hot tea and snacks, lip-smacking dinner.
Overnight stay in camps surrounded by dwarfed hills and vast valleys with interesting activities.

Day 2: Pantwari campside to nag tibba trek & return same stay

To reach the Nag Tibba summit during sunrise, then you must leave the Goat Village/Kathian Campsite before 3 hours of the predicted sunrise time. Ideally, you should wake up at 2:30 am, and get freshen up for the trek. To overcome sleepiness, you can drink tea or coffee before beginning the trek.
Start your trek to Nag Tibba top at 3084 ft.
Reach Nag Tibba top, and explore the beautiful landscapes, witness the stunning views of the Himalayan peaks like Chandrashila, Kedarkantha, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Swaragrohini, and Yamunotri range.
After the Nag Tibba Summit climax experience, we will start descending for the Pantwari. Passing from forests of Rhododendrons, Oak, and Sal trees, you will reach the Nag Tibba temple. This is the main temple dedicated to Nag Devta, which is why this summit is known as Nag Tibba. Here, you can spend 15 to 20 minutes.
Reach at base camp, get served with hot tea and snacks, lip-smacking dinner.
Overnight stay in camps

Day 3: Pantwari campside to dehradun

Start Drive from Pantwari and drive down to Dehradun.
You will reach the Dehradun in 5 hrs
According to your comfortability, you can take train or bus. Both Station and Bus stand are nearby.

How to Reach ?

There are many ways to reach Dehradun:

By Air:-

Jolly Grant Airport of Dehradun is located about 20 kms from Dehradun city. You will get daily flight from here and then reach Dehradun by road. And from Delhi to Dehradun

By Train:-

Trains from Delhi to Dehradun are available on all days of the week

Check and book your train as per your convenience

By Bus:-

From ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi, regular bus service is available to Dehradun.

Note: We recommend to take only government buses from ISBT Kashmiri Gate.

You are requested to reach the above mentioned place around 5:00 PM.

Note: Normally Trip on Himalaya expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Mule. Charges of offloading backpack from Gaurikund to kedarnath. INR 2500/- this payment you paid directly mules owners. The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs. Backpack should have waterproof cover. Suitcases/strolleys

WHEN TO BOOK:

It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organizing your trip at least five months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking)

TERMS FOR CANCELLATION & REFUND:

Customer is suppose to make a full payment in advance for the confirm bookings.

If in case a confirmed booking needs to be cancel than below are the refund policies

1. Prior 30 days of the confirmed date, 50% of the total amount would be refunded
2. Prior 25 days of the confirmed date, 40% of the total amount would be refunded
3. Prior 20 days of the confirmed date, 30% of the total amount would be refunded
4. Prior 15 days of the confirmed date, 20% of the total amount would be refunded
5. Prior 10 days of the confirmed date, 10% of the total amount would be refunded

Note: After the said time the Trip on Himalaya would not be entertaining any cancelation and no amount would be refunded whatsoever.
